27.1. Both the training officer and the trainee accountant must participate in and comply with the
accreditation criteria (refer to Annexure 2), as prescribed by SAICA in these Regulations and the
SAICA Assessment requirements as communicated from time to time.
27.2. Trainee accountants on the CA2025 training programme must be assessed on SAICA’s electronic
assessment tool.
27.3. The training officer must keep a record of a trainee accountant’s practical experience, including time
records, and the completed assessments for a period of 3 (three) years after the discharge of a training
contract or from the date that the trainee accountant left the training office.
