17.1. The prospective trainee accountant must apply, and the training office must approve the training
contract on TCMS, within seven (7) months calculated from the start date of employment as a trainee
accountant.
17.2. The trainee accountant must submit all supporting documents prescribed by SAICA together with his
application for registration of the training contract.
17.3. The training officer must pay the applicable fees.
